Jeff is a 2004 graduate of Virginia Tech&rsquo\;s Pamplin College of Business where he received his B.S. in Marketing Management. He has worked with companies in the commercial building and construction industry since graduating and upon joining Brown Insurance continues to do so while mixing his passion for analyzing and managing risks both commercially and personally.
Jeff currently serves on several community related boards and is one of the past Presidents of the New River Valley Home Builders Association and current Executive Board member of the state Association (Home Builders Association of Virginia).
In Jeff&rsquo\;s free time he enjoys playing all kinds of competitive sports such as soccer\, tennis and golf as well as hanging with his lovely wife and growing son!
Scottie grew up locally in Draper and holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. Prior to purchasing Northpoint Insurance Advisors IN 2017 (previously Carper Insurance)\, he worked in the high-tech industry with a Fortune 100 company and has experience dealing with a wide array of industries\, including electricians\, HVAC\, production / manufacturing environments\, and research and development centers. He is very involved in his community supporting local businesses with the Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board for Pregnancy Resource Center &ndash\; New River Valley which is a non-profit medical clinic for those facing unplanned pregnancy. He is also active in his church in Blacksburg.
Scottie works with new and existing business owners to find insurance and risk mitigation strategies to protect their business from losses. Scottie currently lives in Blacksburg VA with his wife\, Billie\, and three children. Occasionally you&rsquo\;ll find him on the golf course playing in fund raisers for the local non-profit organizations. His golf game isn&rsquo\;t what it used to be!
